The Road to Salvation

  • 1. First, realize that God loves you.
John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
  • 2. Second, realize sin causes all to fall short.
Romans 3:23 – "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
  • 3. Third, realize that sin has a price that must be paid.
Romans 6:23 – "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
  • 4. Fourth, realize that Jesus Christ died to pay your price.
Romans 5:8 – "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
  • 5. Finally, pray, confess, repent of your sins, ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior, and claim His promise of eternal life.
Romans 10:13 – "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the inspired, preserved, and inerrant Word of God — our final authority in all matters of faith and life.
There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Ghost — equal in perfection and unified in purpose.
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died in our place, rose again, and is coming soon to rapture the saints before His earthly kingdom is established.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world, regenerates the believer, and empowers the Christian life. Sign gifts were temporary and are not for today.
Satan is a fallen angel and the enemy of God and man. He will ultimately be judged and cast into the lake of fire forever.
We believe in a literal six-day creation as taught in Genesis, rejecting evolution and affirming God’s direct creative act.
Man was created innocent but fell by choice into sin. All are now sinners by nature and choice, under just condemnation without excuse.
Jesus was miraculously born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit, fully God and fully man.
Salvation is by grace through Christ’s substitutionary death. His atonement is full and complete, not just an example but a sacrifice for sin.
Salvation requires the new birth — a miraculous, instant act of the Holy Spirit making one a new creation in Christ.
Salvation is freely offered to all. Only man's willful rejection of the Gospel keeps him from being saved.
Justification is God's act of declaring the believer righteous through faith in Christ, not by any works of our own.
Repentance and faith are inseparable, Spirit-wrought responses to the Gospel — turning from sin and trusting fully in Christ.
The local church is a body of baptized believers, governed by Scripture alone, carrying out Christ’s mission of evangelism and discipleship. It is autonomous, with pastors and deacons as its biblical officers.
Baptism is by immersion and is a testimony of salvation. The Lord’s Supper is a solemn remembrance of Christ’s death, observed by baptized believers of like faith.
True believers will continue in the faith and are kept by God’s power unto eternal salvation.
There is a clear, eternal difference between the saved and the lost — heaven for the righteous, and conscious suffering in hell for the wicked.
Government is ordained by God and should be obeyed unless it contradicts God’s Word. Christ is Lord over conscience.
Christ rose bodily, ascended to heaven, and will return personally, bodily, and visibly. The rapture is imminent and pre-tribulational.
The church is commanded to carry the Gospel to every nation. We are to go, not wait for others to come.
Believers are called to tithe and give cheerfully to support the church, missions, and the needs of others. The tithe belongs to the Lord.
Sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman. All other forms are sinful and condemned in Scripture.
God designed the family. Men and women are equal in worth but have distinct roles. The husband is the head of the home, and children are to be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Our Mission
We exist to exalt Jesus Christ, proclaim the truth of God’s Word, reach the lost with the Gospel, and disciple believers to walk in love, grow in grace, and live out their faith for the glory of God.
